Before construction began, Haven Plaza was severely distressed and in need of rehabilitation. The residents were continually upset about their living conditions. Working together, the Archdiocese, Wavecrest Management, MDG and the building tenants association worked together to transform the 371 units and the square city block they are situated on. Located across the street from Campos Plaza I, the 36 million dollar rehabilitation has stabilized the neighborhood with newly renovated apartments, hallways, lobbies and landscaping.
