Marien Heim Towers was one of the first RAD projects in New York State. MDG Design + Construction developed this property in collaboration with Hudons Valley Property Group and the existing owners, Marien Heim Tower Inc. MDG also acted as contractor on the 182-unit, $16.2 million dollar rehabilitation.
The preservation and development of Marien-Heim was funded by tax-exempt bonds issued by the New York State Housing Finance Agency (HFA), and utilizes as-of-right 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) in connect with the bonds.
The Plaza at Amityville, formerly known as Andpress Plaza, is located in Amityville, Long Island. This 51-unit project was developed and revitalized through a partnership between MDG Design + Construction, Hudson Valley Property Group, and property owner Ken Oppenheimer. The property received a new 20-year Housing Assistance Payment or HAP contract from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Once the fire head quarters of Brooklyn, 365 Jay street was in need of renovations. MDG, in partnership with Pratt Area Community Council, set out to restore this historic gem to its once pristine condition.
Haven Plaza is a group of four buildings with 373 units of rental housing. MDG served as the general contractor for work on both the interior and exterior.
University Avenue Consolidation is a project that MDG took on as the general contractor, architect, and developer. The project covered 680 units of rental housing in 6 buildings in the Bronx.
234-280 Herkimer Street, Brooklyn is a rental housing project where MDG served as the general contractor. This project covered 138 units of rental housing.
